Thursday 2nd June 22

The Opening Ceremony

Join in us on the Beach for the start of this Historic Celebration of the 70th year of her Majesty’s Reign.

Beacons will be lit across the Commonwealth and United Kingdom from 10pm. Beacons in UK Towns and Cities will be lit at 10:28pm and should be visible from the beach. Her Majesty will light the final beacon at 10:30pm to mark the start of three days of celebrations.

There will be music on the Beach from 10pm so come along and watch the Norfolk coast beacons light up. Who knows? Perhaps a surprise to start our events with a bang (courtesy of Anderby Beach Café). Bring your drinks along!

Our Sponsors

A huge thank you to our Sponsors for their financial support putting this booklet together, along with the bunting and flags around the village.

Our Helpers

Too many to mention individually, but without the time and effort freely given by our helpers, none of this would have been possible.
