  1. Notes of meeting held in March 2025 to be approved as Minutes

So approved.

  1. Reports from Councillors re external meetings

The proposed bird hide – Dave Miller’s quote for £50000 very high spec but the question was asked if this level of sophistication was needed for just a bird hide? The project is being reconsidered and a simple shed with opening flaps seems the most promising way to go.

Cllr Fisher has made some enquiries and the brick bus shelter is not owned by ELDC or LCC. Suggestion was to demolish it and use the bricks to make a Memorial Wall in the cemetery.

The Church yard renovations – Skip - £280, Waste removal - £200, Gate - £50, Thorn Bushes - £550. With Turf laying then total of £2036, but full payment required prior to work commencing.

Clerk suggested that this project could be part funded by the DC Grant and perhaps some of the work could be done via the Pride organisation from ELDC?

As per the attached accounts – showing a balance of £9914 in current account and £4138 in the savings account to carry forward. The precept had been received and totalled £6615.
