Notice is hereby given that the Anderby Parish Council AGM will be held on

Monday 18th May 2026 - Village Hall

The meeting will commence at 7.00pm when members of the public can ask questions or make statements from this time with the full Council meeting  commencing at 7.30pm.

Annual General Meeting


Prior to the start of the AGM, there will be an opportunity to and have informal discussions with them about your concerns etc.

Questions can be formally asked prior to the AGM commencement.

The meeting will commence at approx. 7.30 with the following.

1. Election of Chairman
To nominate and elect the Chairman and receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.


2. Election of Vice‑Chairman
To nominate and elect the Vice‑Chairman and receive the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

3. Apologies for Absence

4. Declarations of Interest
To receive declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and other interests.

5. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
To approve the minutes of the meeting held on April 20th 2026.

 

Governance & Annual Administration


6. Review of Governance Documents

To review and approve:

• Standing Orders
• Asset Register
• Insurance cover
• Meeting schedule for the coming year
 

The full council meeting will commence after this session has ended.

  • To receive reports from outside bodies
  • Finance - review of the latest year end bank reconciliation.
  • Renewal of Zurich PL Insurance
  • Councillors’ Reports re: External meetings
  • Update on Sandy Lane repairs status
  • Dog Fouling - a possible solution for a Parish Council
  • Cheques to be issues:
    • Zurich Insurance
    • Clerks salary
  • Date of Next Meeting Tuesday 2nd June 2026.
