Chapel Garden Centre has offered to sponsor the new Planters with compost, plants etc. but would like some acknowledgement – such as an A4 sign on each. Agreed with thanks.

The flower pots are large (large capacity for water reservoir) so need to be placed near a water supply. Suggestions made of Flogas or Simon’s Field. Cllr Wood to make further enquiries.

  1. Financial statement and audit – 6 months to end September 2022 and year 21-22

The year to date accounts were presented and approved, and the Audit for 21-22 was discussed. No real issues flagged. Accounts signed off by Jen Cooper as OK.

  1. Discussion on any fundraising/grant’s requirements

After the Roundabout – where the plans were submitted, then refused because of the objection of a small number of residents, and had to be redrawn and resubmitted, Councillor’s voiced their concern that this delay would not want to be repeated, and despite having the plans on the website/minutes etc, no objections were raised until the final hour. Greater connection needed with the local residents so suggested this be placed on notice boards/web pages:

‘The PC are looking to attract some grant money to provide disabled friendly gym equipment in the AC carpark. If you have any views on the matter please let us know via email……etc’
