The Parish Council meeting took place on:

Monday 17th February 2025

Village Hall, Anderby Village.

Prior to the meeting there was a Public Forum which commenced at 7.00 pm during this time Members of the public were allowed to ask questions or make short statements to the Council.

The council meeting commenced at 7.15pm.

No updates on Devolution yet – awaiting news.

Because of the uncertainty of this, most of contentious planning items on hold. The Local Plan is not

in force either at this time and we are all awaiting Government updates.

o Approval of Minutes from meeting held in January 2025

o Benches and to note appreciation of Grant awarded from Cllr Dawson

LCC want oak benches but the PC will query this. The recycled plastic ones have a much greater

longevity than the wooden ones. Will update once this has been clarified. We have a grant for these

already in place

o Approval on new budget for 2025-26

o Planning of AGM

The AGM will be in May - £100 approved unanimously for food and drink at this meeting. Also, the

VH committee (Hayley) has agreed to produce a large poster for the event.

o Update on the Island re-design?

No further forward with any new funding information and a further assessment to be made in

November so seeds ready to go in for the Season.
