The Parish Council meeting took place on:

Monday 15th September 2025

Village Hall, Anderby Village.

Prior to the meeting there was a Public Forum commencing at 7.00 pm during this time Members of the public could ask questions or make short statements to the Council.

The council meeting commenced at 7.10pm.

PARISH COUNCIL MINUTES

1. Apologies for absence

Cllr Dawson, Cllr Wood

2. Vice Chair to note the passing of Cllr Wendy Fisher and a 1 minute silence to be observed to pay tribute to the deceased.

Cllr Hayes paid a fond tribute to Cllr Wendy Fisher who passed recently and the Council held a one minute silence in her memory.

Horizon Terrace – application for funds to Levelling Up Fund has been refused.

Street Furniture being cleared by Local Authorities? Opportunity for some more seats etc. Note to Cllr Dawson/Brookes if this is true and if so, request some?

On site meeting 15th October with Highways, Cllr Brookes, re: making the coastal road into a clearway. Update next month.

8. Acknowledgement that there is now a casual vacancy on the Parish Council

9. Update on Anderby Creek toilets

Anderby Creek toilets are to be upgraded over the winter period. Finish date May.

10. Agree purchase of Poppy Wreath and Christmas trees if required

Poppy wreath – can use last years.

Approval given for 2 Christmas trees but can they be purchased earlier?

11. Adoption of Standing Orders for Anderby Parish Council

So adopted subject to changing the footer note which is out of date

12. Finance:
