Anderby Parish Council
Notice is given that the Parish Council meeting will take place on:
Monday 17th November 2025
Village Hall, Anderby Village.
Prior to the meeting there was a Public Forum commencing at 7.00 pm during this
time Members of the public could ask questions or make short statements to the
Council.

5. Co-option of new councillors
Angela Rushton voted onto the Council unanimously.
6. To receive reports from outside bodies
Sand on the ramp an issue. Matthew Davey aware
Tony Lake has requested planters in Anderby Creek which she would tend to but
would PC contribute to the cost of paint/plants? Agreed – a max of £80 agreed.
7. Approval of the Minutes from October meeting of APC
So approved
8. Reports from Councillors re external meetings
Cllr Dawson asked if the old café at Chapel Point could be utilised/converted to an
ambulance station. Would need minimal input to make such a facility and would be of
great benefit to both the Emergency Services crews and the local Residents.
9. Refusal of boat access to Anderby Creek via ramp – for record in Minutes
So noted
10. Update on bird boxes
4 have been made already, at £6 each. Owl box cost to be advised.
11. A1 Poster design – update?
No update at the moment – item deferred to February.
12. Christmas tree update
Request made for a Christmas tree bigger than last year – and bigger than that
bought for the village hall. First week in December for delivery.Max spend £120.
