Cllr Dawson – The AC bin store will be fully operational by the 30th with all Residents having been supplied with keys.

Street Furniture excess question – No surplus stock at ELDC but will keep an ear to the ground.

Local Government redesign – LCC want 1 unitary body for the whole of Lincolnshire but this is opposed by ELDC as it would be a massive area to govern and takes the general public further from the decision makers. ELDC want two districts to combine together instead.

Oct 30th for the final briefing on the situation and there is a Gov decision expected later in the year.

6. Approval of the Minutes from September 25th meeting of APC

So approved

7. Reports from Councillors re external meeting

Cllr Wood: King Charle’s Coastal Country path is under review to develop this and bring extra ‘services’ to help the visitors – with extra seating, weather cover, etc. Perhaps Anderby Creek could benefit with the Round House platform? There is another meeting before Christmas – Amanda Bennet now working on the project

Cllr Fisher: Cllr Fisher, Alan Vassar and Highways met about the Coastal Road, which is classified as a single track road. Parking on the grass verge is a major issue and 2 options were presented

A. Yellow line the whole road but this will cause major disruption

B. Make it a Clearway

Both need to be assessed properly and further investigation needed in the Spring. Photos required.

Cllr Wood says that we had 159000 cars through the village last year (doing more than 33mph (1600 cars) and 6000 doing over 40mph). Enforcement not allowed to make a profit but revenue £2.1m but cost £3.1 to enforce.

Also discussed APC taking over the running of the car parks – will be part of the new authority re-organisation.

8. Church grant update

£4990 grant received for the Church – actual costs total £8000.

The priority of the jobs was discussed and the following:

a. Bramble patch

b. Clearing stumps

c. Re-bedding and aligning of gate

d. Removal of self set trees

e. Hedges

9. Anderby Creek Island – any updates on new design?

The mother seal and cub are well on with the carving and looking to source a resin waterproofing. Probably new year before it will be ready and the £3800 cost will be borne by LCC.

10. ‘Dangers of Inflatables on the Sea’ - poster re-design?

Tom to do the design (FOC) and the project to be re-visited in the near future.

11. Bird boxes in the Churchyard

Suggestion of putting bird boxes in the Church Yard universally accepted and £60 cost approved.

12. Picnic benches in the area behind the wood – near Marsh Yard?

Van Oord reviewing all seats as part of their ongoing improvement after all of their work in the area.
